"One down, two to go." Vertical has revealed an official trailer for an independent horror thriller film titled Dead Sea, formerly known as Flycatcher before the title change for release. Are any of the titles good? This has not been featured at any film festivals, but was acquired during an AFM sale a few years ago. Stranded on the open sea after a fatal accident with a jet ski, a young woman and her two friends are rescued by the captain of a fishing boat, unaware that the boat keeps a chilling secret. In this trailer, it looks like it's an organ harvesting ship; It looks like Eli Roth's hostel, but on a boat.

Dead Sea stars Isabel Gravitt, Genneya Walton, Alexander Wraith, with Dean Cameron, Garrett Wareing, Al Burke, Brian Silverman and Koa Tom. Scheduled for the typical immediate VOD release in late July this summer. There doesn't seem to be much to get excited about with this one, another generic horror with all the usual scary tropes and young women.
